Invitations fluttered like snowflakes through the air — first to the Vowel Room, where the five eldest basked in their importance. Rightly so, for they were the keepers of voice, the breath of every word, the rainbow of every phrase.

Next, to the noble chambers of the Consonants — divided by their textures and tones: the bold plosives, the whispering fricatives… and in a quieter corner, the family of Nasals.

And it was there, tucked in the shadows, that two sisters lived.
Born from the same root.
One bold and known: N.
The other softer, hidden… almost forgotten.
She was the one who never received her invitation.
